June 1, 2025
Hello Linsford families,
It was a busy learning and extra events week at LPS! Our grade 6 students shared their learning through some fabulous D.A.R.E. projects. There will be some highlights and photos in a featured section in this update. Officer Brad was a special guest a second time this week as he visited the kinder classes as well to teach about safety. Our swimming lessons came to an end and we had a western dress up day that many enjoyed. Last, but not least, we also had a group of students who were lucky enough to attend the Rodeo of Smiles.
Thank you to all of the guests and volunteers who came out to support a number of our events!
Enjoy the warm temperatures and have a wonderful week!
Warmest Regards,
Mrs. Kloschinsky & Dr. Murtha-Toles

D.A.R.E. Grad
Our grade 6 students have been learning about and participating in the D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program with Officer Brad Agotnes for several weeks. Every student completed a project and D.A.R.E. pledge. This was celebrated with a D.A.R.E. grad celebration. Student projects were shared and you can see the video at THIS LINK or by clicking on the image below. Parents and guardians joined the grade 6s for a celebration afterwards with some fun Officer Brad themed cake. You can see a few photos below or enjoy even more at THIS LINK.

A Note From Mrs. K
I would like to send out a special THANK YOU to all the LPS students and staff for the surprise recognition at Friday'sassembly! Staff presented me with a beautiful hanging basket of flowers and the students got to do a "Find Mrs. K" scavenger hunt. Students found pictures of me throughout the school and then decorated my door. This was all to congratulate me and send me off to a special graduation ceremony to celebrate another milestone in my educational journey. It was a wonderful surprise and I was very touched!
